October 20th meeting, poem from Terese from prompt from Janet

My Autum Song There's something about October That sets my heart on fire Firey red leaves ablaze, rustling underfoot Seasons changing Green to red Fade to brown Orange so vibrant as sun filters through majestic golds Gusty winds sends colors swirling  like the gypsy's dance Now fade to brown to usher in  the old man

October 20th meeting, poem from Tina from prompt from Janet

As we draw nearer to winter we are gently pulled along  by the seasonal changes - greens fade to lighter greens and even into yellows. Not being sure when the weather will grow less friendly, we watch the changes and see  more oranges, reds, and yes, even purples. They are  indicative of what's to come; the cold blue of winter and  hitting the slopes or staying by the fire and let it's dancing oranges and yellows take us back to the happy colors of fall.

October 20th meeting, poem from Janice from prompt from Janet

Fallen Leaf Once I was green now faded to brown shriveled and wrinkled perched above the ground, gripping to a branch no longer able to grow swift winds passing by to let me go, down to the ground falling so gracefully only to be trampled beneath the ole oak tree
