October 20th meeting, poem from Janice from prompt from Janet

 Fallen Leaf

Once I was green

now faded to brown

shriveled and wrinkled

perched above the ground,

gripping to a branch

no longer able to grow

swift winds passing by

to let me go,

down to the ground

falling so gracefully

only to be trampled

beneath the ole oak tree
